The CentralPenn Doll Collectors Club presented its annual doll and toy show and sale on Sunday, October 14, 2012.  A Doll for All Seasons was held at theGranada Gym in Hershey, PA from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  More than 300 adults and children availed themselves of the opportunity to visit 43 vendors with 92 tables of wonderful merchandise.   The dealers featured items ranging from antique dolls and vintage clothing to modern dolls and doll items and toys. In addition to shopping, the visitors were able to win door prizes which were awarded every fifteen minutes.

Visitors were also able to enjoy displays created by members of the Central Penn Doll CollectorsClub.   One member shared her nurse dolls while another member devoted her display to a parade of military dolls.  In addition there was a display on women in the military with actual uniforms.

A show raffle of fifty items was the highlight of the afternoon.  Throughout the day, raffle tickets were sold and attendees could drop their tickets into cans next to the items they wanted.  At 3:00 PM the drawings began and the fifty items—dolls, bears, and books—were awarded. The excitement reached its peak when the winners for the American Girl Doll Kit with her complete wardrobe and for the Handwerck Antique Doll were called.   The proceeds of this raffle benefit theCentral Pennsylvania Food Bank.
